Retail businesses:
- La Rinascente – 1917-1970 and since 2005: Founded in 1917 by Senatore Romualdo Borletti, controlled by the family from its foundation to 1970 (sold to the FIAT group). Largest Department Store chain in Italy.
- Standa – 1931-1978: Founded in 1931 by Italo and Franco Monzino, ex-Directors of La Rinascente in association with Ferdinando Borletti their borther-in-law. Leading medium price range chain in Italy.
- Christofle – 1993-2000: Largest and best known silverware manufacturer in France, founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle. Bought in 1993 by Maurizio Borletti and successfully repositioned as a leading luxury brand
